the Corporation undertook its first contracted overseas project, the Development Project of Animal Husbandry Bureau in Somalia, where the Corporation. set up its first overseas office，the Somalia Office.

contracted for the first time the project of Chinese classical garden named Zhongshan Park in Vancouver, Canada.

developed the labors service market on a contract base in Northern Africa and the Middle East.

the Corporation's total contract value for contracted engineering projects and labor service exceeded US$ 50 millions for the first time.

was jointly appraised as one of "China's Top 500 Advanced Large Service Enterprises" by the Development Research Centre of State Council and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.

was listed by the National Bureau of Statistics as one of "China's Top 100 Enterprises of the Trades for the Year 1993."
In December 1994,
contracted a project of Family Health Care in Zimbabwe, with a contract value reaching US$55.4 millions. It was for the first time that the Corp. contracted a project exceeding US$50 millions in contract value.
In May 1995,
appraised for the first time as one of the annual Top 225 International Contractors by American Engineering News Record, ranking the 159th place.
In May 1996,
appraised for the second time by American Engineering News Record as one of the annual Top 225 International Contractors, taking the 147th place.
In May 1997,
appeared for the third time on American Engineering News Record as one of the annual Top 225 International Contractors, gaining the 142nd place.
In November 1997,
was jointly appraised by the Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation and the Ministry of Personnel as an "All-China Advanced Collective in Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Sectors".
In May 1998,
was ranked for the fourth time as one of the annual Top 225 International Contractors by American Engineering News Record, taking the 122nd place.
In September 1998,
approved by Jiangsu provincial government, China Jiangsu International Group was incorporated.
In February 1999,
was appraised by the government of Jiangsu Province as an "Advanced Enterprise in Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation sector for the Year 1998."
In March 1999,
was jointly appraised by the Construction Works Administration and the Association of Construction Engineering Contractors of Jiangsu Province as one of the "Well-known Contractors of Jiangsu Province for the Year 1998."
In May 1999,
appeared for the fifth time on American Engineering News Record as one of the annual Top 225 International Contractors, ranking the 120th place.
In November 1999,
passed the certification of ISO9001 Quality Control System.
